Selected work / Education

One school group, one admissions path.

A multi-campus group where each site had been left to run its own way. We rebuilt the brand and the structure around the decision a family actually makes.

Students outside a school building

The brief

Independent school group

Each campus had been given room to run its own site, which is a reasonable decision until you look at it from the outside. A parent comparing schools met three logos, three navigation structures and three enquiry forms, then had to work out for themselves that these were all the same group.

The marketing team was one person with several other jobs. Anything that needed a developer did not get updated.

The challenge

Navigation built around the org chart.

The old sites were organised the way the group runs: admissions, bursary, pastoral, governance. Honest, and useless to a family deciding on a Sunday evening whether to book a visit. Fees sat inside a PDF. Term dates outranked the curriculum. The visit form lived two clicks under a login built for families who had already chosen.

Our approach

Structure first, then craft.

The same senior people ran every stage, so nothing was handed to a second team to interpret.
01

Structure

We mapped the parent journey before anything was designed: what a family needs to read, in what order, and what they must be able to do at the end of every page. Campus detail stayed. It just stopped being the top level.

02

Brand

One identity across the group with enough room for each campus to keep its character. A typographic system, a photography direction and a colour range that read as one family rather than three.

03

Build

Framer, so the marketing lead can add an open day, swap a photograph or publish a notice without a developer. Campus pages run from one template, so a change to the pattern reaches all three.

04

Handover

A working session, a component library named in plain language, and a short written guide for the parts that are easy to forget three months later.

What shipped

The detail that mattered.

  • One brand system across three campuses, with campus accents that do not fork the identity.
  • A single admissions path, enquire then visit then apply, present on every page a family can land on.
  • Fees, term dates and curriculum as real pages instead of PDFs, readable on a phone.
  • Campus pages built from one template, so structural changes reach all three at once.
  • An editable Framer site the marketing lead maintains without developer time.

Where it landed

Proof, not promises.

The group now presents as one school with three campuses rather than three schools sharing a crest. Enquiries and visit requests arrive through one path, into one inbox, in one format.

Enrolment figures belong to the school, so we do not publish them here. Ask on a call and we will walk you through the full case study.

More work

Other projects.

Client names stay off the site until they have cleared them. Scope, craft and approach are here in full.
