Development / AI to Custom Development

AI prototype to production. We rebuild AI-generated apps into software that ships.

Tools like Lovable, v0, Bolt and Cursor get you a working demo in days. Real users need real engineering. Urest takes that prototype and rebuilds it into production-grade React and Next.js, with the architecture, security and performance a live product actually requires. One senior team audits what the AI built, keeps what works, and re-engineers the rest. No handoffs, no rewrite-from-scratch tax you did not budget for.

The problem

The demo works. Shipping it to real users is a different job.

AI coding tools are genuinely good at getting to a working screen fast. That is where they stop. What they hand you is a prototype: it looks done, it clicks through, and it falls over the moment real traffic, real data and real edge cases arrive.

What is missing

Under the surface the same problems show up again and again. Structure that was never designed, only accumulated. Secrets and access rules that were never locked down. Queries and renders that are fine for one test user and slow for a hundred. Code no human on your team can safely change. It is not that the AI did it wrong. It built a demo, and you are trying to run a product on it.

The cost

The risk is not the prototype. The risk is shipping it as-is and discovering the gaps in production, when the fix is a fire drill instead of a plan.

Our approach

We bridge prototype to production in four moves.

The goal is not a rewrite for its own sake. It is the shortest safe path from what the AI built to something you can put in front of customers and keep improving.
01

Audit

We read the whole prototype: architecture, dependencies, data model, auth, and where the AI cut corners. You get a clear picture of what is solid, what is risky, and what has to change before launch.

02

Re-architect

We keep what works and rebuild the rest on a structure that is meant to grow. Sensible boundaries, a real data model, and patterns your team can extend without guessing.

03

Harden

Security, access control, error handling, and performance get engineered in, not bolted on. We close the gaps that only show up under real load and real users.

04

Ship

We take it to production properly: deployment, environments, and a codebase your team can read, own and change after we are gone.

How we work

How a prototype-to-production engagement runs.

Most engagements begin with the Phase 1 audit, so both sides work from facts about your actual code rather than assumptions.
01

Code audit and plan

We go through the AI-generated codebase and map its real state: architecture, data model, authentication, third-party keys, and the performance and security gaps. You end this phase with a plain-language read on what is production-ready, what is not, and the plan to close the difference.

02

Architecture and data

We settle the structure before touching style. A data model that holds up, clear separation between the parts of the app, and an approach to state and APIs that a team can build on for years rather than months.

03

Security and hardening

Authentication and authorization done properly. Secrets out of the client and managed correctly. Input validation, error handling, and the guardrails that keep a real product from leaking data or breaking on bad input.

04

Performance and quality

We tune the app for real conditions: fast loads, efficient data access, and rendering that scales past a single demo user. Where it earns its keep, we add the tests that let you change the product with confidence.

05

Ship and hand over

Production deployment, proper environments, and a clean, documented React and Next.js codebase your team owns outright. If you would rather we keep going, growth and further build run with the same senior team, no handoff to anyone new.

Why Urest

Marketers who build like engineers.

Taking a prototype to production is an engineering job with a product brain behind it. You want people who can read AI-generated code honestly, decide what is worth keeping, and rebuild the rest without inventing work. That is the team you get.

Common questions

Questions about taking an AI prototype to production.

Only where it earns it. We start with an audit, keep the parts that are sound, and rebuild the parts that are not. The aim is the shortest safe path to production, not a rewrite for its own sake.

Any of them. We regularly pick up work started in Lovable, v0, Bolt and Cursor, and we rebuild it in custom React and Next.js. The starting tool matters less than the state of the code it produced.

For a demo, keep going. For a product that real users, real data and real security depend on, you need engineering decisions the tool will not make for you: architecture, access control, performance and a codebase your team can own. That is the gap we close.

A short call, then a code audit. You show us what the AI built, we tell you what is production-ready, what is not, and what it takes to ship it properly. No deck, no pitch.
